Grant to ELEPAP-Rehabilitation for The Disabled, in memory of Georgios Rallis.
ELEPAP is a benevolent society recognized by the state. Founded by private individuals in 1937 with the aid of the Near East Foundation, the Ministry of State Hygiene and the Athens Rotary Club, it was the first private institution to cater to the care, treatment, education and rehabilitation of children with physical disabilities from a few days to 16 years old. Since 1987 the Foundation is also active in the professional training of adults over 18 years of age. Throughout its history, ELEPAP has embraced over 100,000 children with physical disabilities. Based in Athens, it has branches in Thessaloniki, Chania, Ioannina, Volos and Agrinio.
