Grant to the “Hara” Institution for Children with Special Needs in support of the construction of a new wing in its facilities in Pallini to house 25 boarders and enable the separation of children and adults. “Hara” was incorporated in 1983 by parents and in 1986 moved to its own private facilities in Pallini.
“Hara” provides housing and specialist care to people with mental handicap, mobility problems, Down syndrome, autism, while the parents are supported so as to provide their care with less pressure. The parents, trainers and caregivers are in close collaboration and renew their targets based on the evaluation of the individual action plan. The institution is a member of the “Together for Children” Association.
