The Paul & Alexandra Canellopoulos Foundation continues to steadfastly support the work of the NoDE Institute, which, remaining true to its mission of providing free education and specialized training for Greek surgeons, implemented in 2025 an extensive program of high-level educational activities.
During 2025, the NoDE Institute conducted 26 specialized programs across 19 thematic areas, covering a wide spectrum of surgical specialties and endoscopic techniques. A total of 424 surgeons participated, receiving training from 106 expert instructors through hands-on practice with cadaveric specimens, simulation-based learning, and live surgical case observation.
The Foundation’s contribution covered a significant portion of the Institute’s permanent staff payroll costs, playing a key role in ensuring its continuous and uninterrupted operation and enabling the provision of high-quality education free of charge to all participants.
Through this support, the Paul & Alexandra Canellopoulos Foundation actively contributes to the dissemination of medical knowledge, the empowerment of young professionals, and the advancement of scientific excellence in the field of medical education in Greece.
