Grant to the benevolent organisation “Amalieion Hospice for Girls” in support of its valuable services in the field of social policy.
Founded in 1855, the Amalieion hosts 100 students from vulnerable population groups from outside Athens, mainly orphans and children of large or destitute families. The Society provides accommodation and board, education, entertainment and all the conditions necessary to their studies and education. The Foundation responded to the society’s request because it fits in with its aim of providing relief to vulnerable individuals in Greece.
