TITAN and Paul and Alexandra Canellopoulos Foundation are actively participating in the national effort to restore the burnt land in the areas of Dervenochoria and Mandra, affected by the forest fire of 2023. Together they undertook the restoration of an area of approximately 41,000 acres, donating significant funds for studies and erosion control projects that will allow for the natural regeneration and recovery of the area.

Recently, the Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr, Thodoros Skylakakis, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Paul and Alexandra Canellopoulos Foundation, Mr. Nellos Canellopoulos and the General Manager of TITAN Greece, Mr. Angelos Kalogerakos -accompanied by the executives of the Forestry Department- inspected the progress of the works, noting that 60% of the works have already been carried out at a very fast pace, and are expected to be completed next April, one month before the initial deadline.

This action follows the prevention and restoration initiatives, totalling €1 million, implemented by the Paul and Alexandra Canellopoulos Foundation and TITAN after the fires that afflicted the country in 2021.
