In a special event organized by the Hellenic Olympic Committee, Paul and Alexandra Canellopoulos Foundation was honored for supporting the work of the HOC, as a long-standing sponsor of the educational programme “I Love Sports – Kid’s Athletics”.
The programme, which has been implemented since 2010, promotes sport, sportsmanship and extracurricular physical activity and acts as a ‘breeding ground’ for potential athletes who will become prominent and promote the Greek spirit.
More than 260,000 students from 3,200 schools across the country have already participated in the programme.
The award was received by the President of the Foundation Nellos Canellopoulos from the Deputy Minister of Sports Yannis Vroutsis.
