Supporting the Adult Day Center “Open Door”

2025 Operation overview

10.02.2026

The Paul & Alexandra Canellopoulos Foundation continued its longstanding support of the Adult Day Center of the “Open Door” Cerebral Palsy Association throughout 2025, contributing to the wellbeing and social inclusion of adults with severe and multiple disabilities.

From January to December 2025, the Adult Day Center provided daily rehabilitation, educational, and creative programs to 70 adult beneficiaries, delivered by a multidisciplinary team of educators, therapists, and caregivers, in close collaboration with families and volunteers.

During 2025, the Center continued to develop its services, with a focus on independent living skills, psychosocial empowerment, creative expression, and specialized therapeutic interventions. The reorganization of participants into five groups further strengthened the program, supporting more personalized approaches and enhanced outcomes.

Through its sustained engagement, the Foundation contributes to an environment in which adults with severe disabilities are supported with dignity, meaningful participation, and opportunities for personal development.
